How You’ll Support Our Mission
The ideal candidate will have high energy, drive and perseverance. The primary role of the Market Development Representative is to qualify marketing-generated inbound prospects through calling and emailing with the goal of creating marketing-qualified opportunities. Bridging the gap between marketing-generated leads and sales-qualified opportunities, you will be part of the Marketing team but will partner and work closely with the Sales team. You will report to the Director of Demand Generation in our Austin, Texas office and be managed and mentored day-to-day by our Lead Market Development Representative.
What You’ll Be Doing - the day to day
· Gain fundamental knowledge and understanding of ESO’s product suite to accurately field inbound prospect and expansion inquiries
· Initial outreach and follow-up with marketing-generated inquiries, adhering to service-level agreements
· Determine budget, authority, need and timeline (BANT) to create marketing-qualified opportunities
· Partner with Marketing to provide feedback on inbound efforts
· Learn the sales process and understand the sales cycle from beginning to end

Who You Are - the desirables
· Salesforce experience
· Previous military, EMS or Fire experience is recommended
· Public speaking or cold calling
· SaaS experience
