The ESO/PCRF Research Forum is ideal for clinical leaders, front-line clinicians, students, and educators with innate curiosity and an itch to launch their next (or first!) research project.

In small working groups you will have the opportunity to:

Learn EMS Research Fundamentals

From defining a question to the parts of a peer-reviewed manuscript, get a solid foundation in EMS research.

Refine Your Research Ideas

Sharpen your research question and goals to ensure clarity and focus for your project.

Explore Data Elements

Using the ESO Data Collaborative dataset, determine viability and define your data query.

Work with Expert Mentors

Collaborate with clinical mentors and statisticians to create an analysis plan for your research question.

Develop a Research Abstract

Begin drafting your research abstract with guidance from experienced researchers and methodologists.

Present Your Findings

Prepare and deliver a presentation to ESO staff outlining your selected research question and preliminary findings.

Application and participation in the forum is free. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging costs.
