Legal Terms
This page contains ESO’s legal agreements that govern the rights and obligations of ESO, its customers, and customer’s end users. Some of the agreements contain general provisions for all ESO products and services and some are only applicable to specific products and services and are labeled as such. Please review your product and services orders to ensure that your review of such terms are applicable to the products and services you ordered.
ESO Subscription and License Agreements
General terms and conditions that apply to your products, software, and services. If your quote does not contain any of the specifically listed products or services, the ESO Subscription Agreement shall exclusively govern.
All Non-Specified Products
The ESO Subscription Agreement contains the general terms and conditions that govern all products and services ordered unless otherwise specified by product type. These terms and conditions only apply on and after October 1st, 2025 (unless customers has an existing agreement for these products/services).
Registry
The Software License and Maintenance Agreement for Registry contains the general terms and conditions that govern ESO’s registry products and services. These terms and conditions apply on and after December 1st, 2022 (unless the customers has an existing agreement for these products/services). Prior versions of these terms are available below.
Emergency Reporting Products and Services
Except for Customers who have completed the ER to ESO product and contract upgrade process, the Terms of Service for Emergency Reporting shall govern all products and services that were previously provided by Emergency Reporting or otherwise designated in your ordering document as Emergency Reporting
Vendor Aggregator

All Non-Specified Products
The Business Associate Agreement (General) contains the general terms and conditions that govern how ESO will use a customer’s data regulated by HIPAA relating to all products and services unless otherwise specified by product type.
Registry
The Business Associate Agreement (Registry) contains the general terms and conditions that govern how ESO will use a customer’s data regulated by HIPAA relating to Registry Products and Services
