Cortney Johnson Joins ESO as Chief Financial Officer

Johnson brings experience and expertise managing complex finance strategies for high-growth technology companies

March 18, 2019 – AUSTIN, TexasESO, the leading data and software company serving emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments and hospitals, today announced Cortney Johnson has been named Chief Financial Officer. Johnson brings nearly 20 years of financial leadership experience, with a successful track record of helping technology companies sustainably manage growth while scaling effectively.

Prior to ESO, Johnson served as the Chief Financial Officer of All Web Leads, Inc., based in Austin, Texas. Starting her ca­reer as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP, Johnson has progressed at every stage of her career, gaining CFO, public accounting, SEC reporting, as well as in­ternal controls and audit experience. She holds a B.B.A. in International Business from Southwestern University and an M.S. in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the Uni­versity of Virginia. Johnson is a Certified Public Accoun­tant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. She also serves on the Small Business Advisory Committee (SBAC) of the Financial Account­ing Standards Board (FASB), which provides advice on FASB projects related to the operationality and the anticipated costs, complexities, and benefits of potential solutions.
