ESO Expands Executive Team, Hires Omar Qassom as Vice President of Operations

Hospital executive brings industry experience across entire healthcare and public safety spectrum

February 4, 2019 – AUSTIN, TexasESO, the leading data and software company serving emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments and hospitals, today announced the hiring of Omar Qassom as Vice President of Operations.

Qassom brings nearly 25 years of hospital, healthcare and EMS experience to ESO. Most recently, he was the Chief Operations Officer for Nix Healthcare System, overseeing the emergency room, surgery and cath lab, as well as the overall inpatient and outpatient facility operations across multiple campuses. Prior to Nix Healthcare System, Qassom was the Director of Operations and Development for the Gulf Coast Division of HCA. He started his healthcare career as a communications manager with Montgomery County Hospital District and a senior dispatcher and EMT with Cypress Creek EMS.
