We are looking for a highly motivated Customer Development Representative to be on the front line of customer interaction. This position is on a competitive and highly collaborative team, with strong growth opportunity for the right person. This is an opportunity to break into SaaS Sales, develop a high achieving sales career, and partner with top sales reps.    

How You’ll Support Our Mission

The ideal candidate will have high energy, drive, and perseverance. The primary role of the Customer Development Representative is to work with our existing customers who are interested in add-on products to support their agency or department needs. This is a customer facing position where business will primarily be conducted via phone and email.  

Reporting to the Director of Account Management, you will be a part of our Sales team based in our Austin, Texas office.

What You’ll Be Doing - the day to day 

  • Fielding inbound inquiries from customers looking for add-on products 
  • Following up with customers to answer questions and obtain commitments for add-on product 
  • Creating quotes and process Sales Orders for customers 
  • Partner with Account Managers to help assist when customers are looking for add-on product 
  • Refer cross-sell leads to Account Managers 
  • Learn the sales process at ESO; work to understand the sales cycle from beginning to end  
  • Promote ESO events and ESO’s national user conference, Wave

Who You Are - the desirables  

  • Previous military, EMS or Fire experience
