Join Our Mission to Transform Healthcare
Our State Apps team is at the forefront of developing innovative applications that empower US states to receive and analyse patient data from hospitals. This data is crucial for regulatory compliance, identifying trends in medical care, and driving life-changing healthcare improvements.
Why you’ll love this role
After successfully launching our first application focused on EMS data, we're now expanding to include Trauma data. This means you'll be instrumental in supporting state-specific requirements for data submission and reporting, directly impacting our customers' success.
As a member of our Product Engineering team, you'll report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with a passionate team. Together, you'll harness the power of data to enhance community health and safety.
What You’ll Be Doing – the day to day
Whilst you will be part of the Engineering team in Belfast, your primary responsibility will focus on helping to build out customizations for each state, depending on their individual requirements. This will require you to own the technology stack from data ingest, to reporting output, and build customizations as per the customer’s requirements.
It will also require you to work closely with the customer, either directly or indirectly via our product team and subject matter experts. It may also necessitate the need to join customer calls from time to time. Note, that when time and planning allow, you may find yourself working alongside the core application team, delivering features into the product itself.
In terms of the technology stack, you can expect to work on back-end services, in a serverless context, using data pipelines and working with databases too. You will also own the lifecycle of the services you work with and be responsible for the DevOps pipelines and releases to production.
We value competency, tenacity and problem-solving, and you will find plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and technologies, or even introduce your own best practices to your new team.
Our Current Stack: C#, .NET Core, Angular, Typescript; Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure PAAS / Serverless; EF Core, SQL Server, BDD, NUnit, Cypress, Sonar; Application Insights, New Relic.
