Customer Case Study: Using HDE to Connect to a State HIE

In this customer case study, Gold Cross Ambulance, in Salt Lake City, uses ESO Health Data Exchange (HDE) to connect to cHIE, Utah’s statewide health information exchange. The result is two-way data sharing with hospitals that enables Gold Cross to conduct quality measurement and improvement, as well as provide feedback and patient outcomes from the hospital to its EMTs and paramedics.
