ESO Training Academy: 5 Reasons You Don’t Want to Miss It

Hands-on learning, customized courses, and onsite expert trainers can’t be beaten when it comes to making the most of all the features and functionality of the ESO suite of products. This year’s ESO Training Academy promises all of the above for attendees and is conveniently held the two days prior to the annual Wave conference, to make it easier to get the most bang from your training and travel budget this spring.

The ESO Training Academy runs February 24-25, 2020, immediately prior to the Wave 2020 conference, set for February 26-27, 2020. Both events take place at the Austin Hilton in Downtown Austin, TX, and offer an unsurpassed combination of in-depth training, thought leadership, and networking.

Registration is now open for both events, with special pricing bundles available for a combo registration. ESO also has provided justification letters to help make your case as to why you should attend these events, which will undoubtedly benefit your entire agency (ESO has prepared three templates: just Wave 2020, just the ESO Training Academy, or the full-combined conference).

In the meantime, here are the 5 top reasons you’ll want to sign up and attend the ESO Training Academy this year:

  1. Get More from Your Product Investment
If you’ve ever wanted to ensure you are getting the absolute most out of your ESO products or had specific features you want to explore in-depth, the Training Academy is your perfect opportunity. During the two-day event, you’ll have access to courses for all ESO products, including FIREHOUSE Software, ESO Scheduling, ESO Checklists, ESO Asset Management, and more. And as always, you’ll have access to the ESO Support Lab to get direct questions answered on any issues you’re having in the ESO product suite.
  2. Participate in Hands-On Courses
Most of us in emergency health care thrive on using our hands and learning by doing. The ESO Training Academy takes you beyond tutorials and printed guides to provide hands-on learning with real-time guidance and assistance. Courses focus on practical, everyday use and are designed to meet the needs of both beginner and experienced users. From field medics to quality officers to chiefs, there’s a class that fits your unique needs.
  3. Get In-person Help from Experts
You’ll never have more immediate access to ESO experts than at the Training Academy. The trainers combine their own personal field experience (most are former first responders) with in-depth ESO product knowledge. This means they’ve been in your shoes and know how to help you do more, more efficiently. Being able to ask questions and get instant answers and insight is an invaluable benefit of attending the Training Academy.
  4. Network with Your Peers
ESO Training Academy is the perfect chance to learn more about solutions your peers have found using ESO products, as well as open your mind to possible new uses and solutions that you’ve never considered. Hearing others’ questions and comments, as well as offering our own perspective to conversations, might just inspire a new project for your upcoming year. It’s also a great chance to see how your agency compares with others from across the nation, and make contacts that will last beyond the sessions. You won’t want to miss the Welcome Reception on February 24, 2020, from 5:45 pm – 7:45 pm at the Hilton Austin.
  5. Get Pumped for Wave 2020
ESO Training Academy takes place in the two days immediately before the annual Wave conference, and there’s no better way to get ready for the industry’s premier data and tech conference for EMS, fire, and hospitals. In the last 10 years, Wave has grown from 100 attendees to 900, and after attending Training Academy, you’ll have a two-day jump start on great conversations, learning, and networking. Plus you’ll already be comfortable with the Austin Hilton, the same location as the Wave conference, and ready for the kick-off Data After Dark Party on February 25, 2020, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, at Maggie Mae’s on 6th St.

Register now for the ESO Training Academy, and review the agenda for the entire week now.
