The premier conference for data and tech in EMS, fire, and hospitals is just around the corner, and the list of sessions and topics continues to develop into the most exciting and interesting to date. Wave 2020 brings together some of the top thinkers and most experienced experts to discuss how data can improve performance, perspective, and procedures.

One of the 11 featured tracks is the Fire Data Management Track, offering attendees insights and inspiration on how to best collect, store, and utilize data from your agency. You won’t want to miss the session, “Data Drives Fire Services,” presented by Jennifer Heatly, Compliance Program Manager at Austin Fire Department.

There’s no doubt that data plays a huge role in today’s fire industry, but how do you ensure that you’re collecting it and using it in the best way possible? The proper storage and usage of your agency’s data can help ensure you not only stay compliant, but can open your eyes to how you compare to other agencies and highlight areas for improvement.

Heatly, a NFPA committee member, will be presenting on the newest NFPA standards for data collection systems. The session will focus on the future of how RMS, CAD, and all of your data will be shared and work together. With this information, you’ll be able to create a whole new set of data and insight for your department.

This year’s Wave conference will be held February 26-27, 2020 in Downtown Austin, Texas, and is designed to help attendees get more from their data.
